Maria Graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh North Carolina in 2018 and Emory School of Law in Atlanta in 2021. In 2021, Maria was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. She is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia. She is a member of AILA, NACDL, and GACDL.
During law school Maria was an intern at the Dekalb County Public Defender's Office, a law clerk at a private immigration firm, and an intern at the City of Atlanta's Public Defender's office Immigration Unit. In College she was a member of the Meredith's first Moot Court team, the first all women team in the regional southeast at the time.
In her spare time Maria enjoys baking and spending time with her cat.
